Questions to ask yourself before you buy a dog
Before choosing a dog it's important to discuss what you are looking for in a your canine companion. What kind of lifestyle do you and your family have? How active is your family? How much time and money are you willing to invest in proper nutrition and training? If you have an emergency vet bill will you be able to afford it? Can you commit to this dog for 12-15 years?
Choosing the right breed of dog
Before you get a dog do your research on different breeds. Make sure you don't get a dog just because they are cute! Every breed has different needs. I am here to help you choose the right breed of dog for you and your family. I will assist you in finding a reputable breeder, I will go with the client to meet the breeder and assist them with the process. or if you are interested in rescuing I will happily evaluate the dog for you.

Can we meet the parents?
Is visiting possible?
Are the puppies registered
How old are they?
Are they healthy?
Any history of resource guarding with the parents, grandparents or previous litters?
Do the parents have health cerificates?
Can I see the whole litter?
Are the puppies social?
Are they exposed to strange noises and environments?
Are the puppies vaccinated and dewormed?
How are the parents temperaments?
Do you have a contract?
How long have you been a breeder?
Ask for references from previous buyers.
What are the puppies fed?
Do you offer support?
Do you test for hips and elbow health?
